THE STEWART FAMILY.
We have seen these performers ar,: pronounce them to possess all the abilitj • that has been ascribed to them by tt Press of the colonies. To witness the: entertainments without being amused an: delighted would be to perform a miracli They sing, they act, and they dance in i manner that places them in the front raai as exponents of burlesque. We saw theE in "If" and a short burlesque, and v> have never felt more oblivious of dull car: than we did on that occasion. Every fe* minutes something new and attractive r introduced. Operatic melodies unmuti lated and nicely sung by sweetly-torie: voices, dances gracefully danced, and ac!ing unsurpassably good of its class, ai(wonderfully interwoven in these entertainments, and delight the ear and the eye. The pieces performed are excellent but anything wc'dd be so under the treatment of the Stewart family. We §s\ pleased to learn that' Qaniar u is to receivj a visit from these talented artistes, wk appear for a few nights, commencing pi| Saturday next.
