Sir Colin Campbell is a D.-ippls Grey, rising "> years old, and stands Hii hands iiigh, fine" action, and plenty of _ bone and hair : line temper and sound constitution. Sir Colin O.iinpVdl was bred by Mr James -Minfh, GLullield, North Taieri, ont of the e-debrated Mare Diamoud, by Young Iron Duke. Diamond imported from Tasmania by the late D. Nesbifct, Esq. Sir Colin Campbell's Sire, Young Iron Duke, by Iron Duke (imported), out of Ducro, sister to Mr Jellies' prize mare. Young Iron Duke gained the lirst prize at Warrnambool Show, Victoria, and first for the Bast Draught Entire exhibited, beating ali imiiorled and co'onial bred horses on the ground. At the Grand National Show held at ivyneton, 1569, he gained the first prize for the best colonial bred Stallion, beating Dan O'Connell, the celebrated prizetaker, and the renowned Prince Charlie, in the class open to all comers. At the same place he gained the first prize in IS7O, also first in 1872, never having been beaten in his class. Sir Colin Campbell's dam Diamond, bred by Mr. Patersou, Quamby, her sire Sir Colin Ca:npbell (imported) by James Ross, Esq., of Bishopbournc, Tasmania. Her dam was the celebrated mare Blossom. Blossom's sire, Clyde, imported to Tasmania by M. Field, Esq.. of Enfuld. Diamond when two years old, took iirst prize at Westbury ; when three years old, first at Longford, and first at Westbury; when four years old, first at Westbury ; and in LS7u, iirst at Launeeston, and lirst at Westbury, being six first prizes in ali, never having been beaten in Tasmania.
