A case of supposed small-pox at the Spit has been exciting some alarm during tlje last few days. The child afflicted with" the disorder is under medical treatment for smallpox, but it is considered by the medical attendant to be of a mild type. One medical man, however, says it is not small-pox at all. The boy was vaccinated in 1875.
