SPECIAL TELEGRAMS.
[from our own CORRESPONDENT.] DUNEDIN. October 6. The criminal sessions of the Supreme Court opened this morning before Judge Williams. There were twelve cases, and the following have been concluded: —George Douglas and John M'Dowell, stealing from the person, were sentenced to three months each ; Ann Jane Trimble, stealing at Oamaru, one month ; John Dclaney, forgery, five years ; Thomas Hunt, attempting suicide, discharged. The three last named pleaded guilty.
