RULES AND REGULATIONS: 1. Ploughmen to be on the ground at 9 o'clock, to draw. The amount of ground to be ploughed by each competitor is two* thirds of an acre for double furrows, and five-eighths for swing, ploughs. Time—five and a half hours, including half an hour for lunch. 2. In Classes B and C, each man to makehis own break, and cleave it out. The furrow to be not more than 9 inches wide, nor' less than 6 inches, deep. In Class A, each man to make crown, and finish. The furrow to be not more than 9 inches wide, nor less than 6 inches deep. 3. No assistance allowed after gunfire. 4. Start and finish to be notified by gunfire. Entry money, 103.
