WHARH KURI RACES. Tho Wha'ro Kuri annual races took place on tho coursu, ;iUout ono mile and a half from Clio Whavo Kuri Hotel, on Friday last. The attendance was not quite as largo as that of last year, owing donbtlosß to the weather, which lias been very boisterous lately. But tho visitors, Borne of whom came from long distances, appeared to enjoy tho sport thoroughly. This race brought tho meeting to a close just as it began to get dark, when there was a general stampede for Host Cainiß' Hotel, wliero a capital supper was ready, which all seemed to thoroughly enjoy. On Saturday morning a general Bottling up took place, at which, of course, all seemed satisfied, and the usual amount of " fizz" was consumed. The affair concluded with three cheers for Host and Hostess Cairns, and a voto of thanks to the Secretary, Mr. A. Cameron.
