Brown, Sutton, and Co., report holding a sale of grain, etc., at their Rooms, Tyno-street, this-day, tho attendance being fair, but most lota not reaching the reserves ■were passed in. 300 bushelß good feed oats brought iU 10s, and a small parcnl of fowl feed brought the fame figuro ; 3000 bushels prime seed oats being passod in at 4s 3d, and 300 bushels prime seed wheat at 4s. A quantity of potatoen were also passed in thera being no buyers present. CHRISTCHURCH. [BY TELEGRAPH ] September 6 Wheat markot very dull ; holders anxious to reduco stocks, which are still heavy, values about 4a ; oats firm and in demand at 4b 3d for feed, and 4s 6d for milling. Flour, dull at LI 1 toLI2; bran and sharps scarce' and donand brisk at 4a 5d and 6s fid respectively. ChoeßC, Is 2d; butter, lid to Is; hams and bacon, Is 2d in cloth. TIMARU.
