Mr, Binney reports : Business is in sound condition, but sales are confine' to trade requirements. Few wholesale lines have been placed during the month. The maiket for C'o'onial Government debentures is heavy and depressed. The corn maiket is quiet ; foreign arrivals very large. Heavy continuous rains have damaged the crops in the North of Rngland. The Continental wheat harvest is generally good, France excepted.
