A little more energy has b*en infu.-ed into the (train market during the past week, owing to several lines of wheat having been taken up for export, and if we culd ot.ly aee that consummation so devoutly to be wished for. viz., a vessel loading direct from our port for the Home con .try, we believe that the problem of quitting our surplus produce at a payable price, would be as nearly as possible solved. Wheat.—Although the tone of the market is if anything, firmer, quotations remain unaltered. Prime velvet may be quoted tip to 3s lOd ; ordinary milling. 3s Sd to 3* 0.1. Oats.—There has not been much business done in this cereal lately, but prices remain very firm: bright milling oats are very scarce and readily commands 4a 4d to 4=) o"d ; good feed, 3s 9d to3a ltd. Barley.—None in the market. Flour.—Lit i 10a to Lll per ton. Oatmeat.—LSO. Pollard.—Ls ss. Bran.—Ls 15s. potatoes.—Market easier; quotations, Lo 10s, for prime samples. DUNEDIN.
