Greece intimates that if Turkey refuses to concede the Congress concessions she will wrest them from her by war. August 24. Queensland wools are lower. Stragero has been partly fortified, the Austrians making the place their headquarters, where reinforcements are concentrating. The Montenegrins forcibly resist the Austrian occupation of Bosnia. The Turkish garrison has refused to surrender Podritza. The Montenegrins are bombarding the place. August 25. The Austrians followed uptheir Stragero victory by inflicting a serious Bosnian defeat at Stolute. Cooktow>-, Aug. 2G. A pitched bat-tie has occurred here against 300 Ci.inese at the new rush. Several were k'ih-d and wounded.
