WAITAKI SHEEP DOG TRIAL. * TRIAL of SHEEP DOGS will be held - at DUNTROON, on WEDNESDAY, 2.vip OCTOBER, 1878, commencing at 10' o'clock a. in. precisely. Intending Competit >rs must send in their Kntries to the Secretary, Mr. E. C. Smiyh, Duntroon, not later than 25th SEPTEMBER, IS7S, accompanied with Entrance Fee (10a), as also colour, name, and aok of Dog entered. Places will be drawn for. There will be two (2) Classes—one for Dogs of any age, and one for Dogs aged 18 months and under. There will be First, Secoud, and Third Prizes awarded for each ('lass. Four sheep will be allowed for each competitor.
