The 9.3 Waitaki, Captain Edie, arrived in port this afternoon, with passengers and carjjo, from. Ducectin. The schooner Nelaony Captain Robinson, sailed last night for Nelson, with a cargo of produce, shtpped by Messrs. J. Sleek Hay and Barr. and Anderson anrt Co. The schooner Fiery Cross finished discharging this morning, and is now taking in a cargo of produce for Lyttelton.
SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Hokitika, August 10. The steamer Waipara, on returning from the Alhambra, got ashore on a point of the South Spit. It is expected Bhe will be got off to-morrow. The passengers landed sately, bat only half of the Alhambra s cargo for the West Coast has been discharged. The Alhambra is waiting m the roadstead till tomorrow morning, owing to the heavy sea.
