Sixth Division of Profits. The whole of the profits are divided ~-mon£;st the assured, and bonuses to the amount of £910,000 have already been allotted. The last division of profits took place in 1574, and the cash surplus then divided amounted to £235,000, giving additions to policies averaging £3 per cent, per I annum on the sum assured. The bonuses paid on policies becoming claims have varied from £ls per cent, on the sum assured for a policy of five years* standing to £l5O per cent, for one or twenty-five years' duration. Bonuses become vested additions to policies when _they have been full live years iu force.
