' Sixth Division of Profits. ' The whole of the profits are divided amongst the assured, and bonuses to the amount of £910,000 have already been aJotted. The last division of profits took place in 1574, and the cash surplus then divided amounted to £235,000, giving additions to policies averaging £3 per cent, per annum on the sum assured. The bonuses paid on policies becoming claims have varied from £ls per cent, on the sum assured for a policy of live years' standing to £Mt> percent, for one or twenty-rive years' duration. Bonuses become vested additions to policies when they have been full rive years in Sorce.
