The whole of the profits are divided amongst the assured, and bonuses to the amount of £910,000 have already been allotted. The last divisiou of proht3 took place in 1574, and the cash surplus then flivided amounted to £-235,000, giving additions to policies averaging £3 per cent, per annum on the auin assured- Ihe bonuses paid on policies becoming claims have varied front £ls per cent, on the sum assured for a policy of tive years' standing to £l5O per cent, for one ot twenty-live jears duration. Bonuses become vested additions to policies when they have been full live y«ars m force.
