On Monday breadstuff* seemed inclined to he somftwhat firmer, a slightly better teelmg having been imparted by English telegrams; but stocks are heavy and supplies came freely forward. Flour was still quoted at LIO I 0» to LIO tik fti, and trade parcels were motced off at our quotation. Good miUing wheat wa* quoted at 5a to 5s Id; and we besides- heard o£ equal to 5a 2d hairing been realised for an extra fine parceJ. On TuWay breadstuff* found buyer* at the auction sales to a fair extent; about 800 tiaim of wheat were cleared off at 4s lid to (to tor good, and 4» SJjtt to 4a lOid for inferior to medium. Flour was more noticed; about 50 tons were disposed of by auction at LIO 10s; and, privately, about 70 tons found buyers at LIO tOa. In another in•tancf about BO ton" were placed at LIO 15s nut M«»w. On Tuesday a considerable business was- done at auction. In one mutance. 600 bags New Zealand were cleared off at 4s Shi to 4s 7*d for ordinary feedinsr: r_W bushels were also quitted at 5s Id.tor milling, and 5s for Victorian.
