The whole of'the proiits are divided amongst the assured, and bonuses to the amount of £*> 10,000 have already been allotteU. The iast division of profits took place in 1574, and the cash surplus then divided amounted to £235,1*10, giving additions to policies averaging £3 per cent, per annum on the sum assured. The bonuses paid on policies becoming claims have varied from £ls per cent, on the sum assured for a policy of live years' standing to £l5O per ceut. for one or twenty-live years duration. Bonuses become vested additions years in force.
