The following -report of the animal .tfting of the Oamarn Artillery Yolnn--t-re, held some evening's since, has been .-rwitrded to us, with. a request for its uMication :—Captain Blorton occupied I e chair; and the mtimtes having been ■r firmed, it was ordered, on the motion t Lienr. Greenfield, seconded by Sergt;.■lajor Holdsworth, that an account of he recent match with the Timara Artilay. with the names of the members of he competing teams, be inserted in the u mutes of the battery. The Treasurer's *fatement was read and adopted. r." A cordial vote of thanks was passed to >_• retiring Committee, and a similar ■: piimtßt was paid to the retiring . surer and Secretary. The meeting proceeded to the election of ofßcS- ° -rs for the ensuing year, with the fol- . iug resnlt: Treasurer, Corporal '•ay (re-elected) ; Secretary, Corporal "i.lston; Committee, Sergeant-Major i.'M.worth, Sergeant Hiekey, and • 'miner Garrow ; Auditors, Gunners j-'; '.!ful and Church. On the motion of i. • nt. Greenfield, seconded by Gunner - it was unanimously resolved, ' .That as soon as. the Battery is in funds, .-'•triii of'Ls be placed in the hands of Morton, for a. present to Ser»t..vinjur M k Pherson, in recognition of his v.ituable services to the Battery."
