OIR,—As the term of your Mayoralty approaches completion, and the annual Election of a Chief Officer of the Town is at hand, we, the undersigned Ratepayers of Oamaru, respectfully express a hope that you will consent to bo again Nominated to fill the office yon have occupied with so much honor to yourself and so much benefit to tho Town. Your efforts to increase the Corporation endowments, as yet hut partially complete, the assistance you have been able to lend by your knowledge, energy, and activity to the financial arrangements made necessary by the extensive works which the Corporation has undertaken, and which are yet incomplete, make it, in our opinion, very desirable that you should continue to occupy the Mayoral Chair for another term.
