Entries for Maiden Steeplechase, Waitaki County Cup and Oaniaru Handicap, to be made on or before Saturday, loth July, at S p.m. Weights to be declared cm Wednesday, 17th July. All Kntries to be accompanied by a description and' name of the Horse, and the colors to be won by the Rider. All Protests must be addressed to the Stewards in writing, accompanied by a deposit of 2 sovs., within one quarter of an hour before or after the Race, or they will not be considered ; and if found frivolous or vexatious, the deposit will be forfeited. Five per cent, will be deducted from all Monies paid by the CJub. Any Horse found using tha .lumps, or running round after the Course has been laid out, previous to the fiace, will be disqualified from running during the Meeting.
