Entries for Maiden Steeplechase, Waitaki County Cup and Oamaru Handicap, to be .made on or before Saturday, 13th July, at S p.m. Weights to be declared on Wednesday, 17th July. Acceptances on or before Wednesday, the 24 L h July, at S p.m. All Entries and Acceptances, accompanied by the Money, in scaled covers, to he addressed to the Secretary, at the Empire Hotel, Oamaru. All Nominators who are not Members of the Club at the time of entry shall pay fac of £1 Is. All-Ebtries to be accompanied by a description and name of the Horse, and th« colors i.tjST be won by tho Rider. All Protests must be addressed to the Stewarcfe-ia writing, accompanied by a deposit of z*iovß., within one quarter of nn hour before or after the Race, or they will not be considered ; and if found frivolous or vexatious, the deposit will be forfeited.
