(From the Edinburgh School of Cookery) Bogs to intimate to the Ladies of Oamaru that she will give a course of Practical Lobsons in Oookery. Tho course of instruction will consist of Twelve Lessons, accompanied with illustra(rations of practical cooking. A large (J;ts Stove has been fitted up, and Pupils will ho enabled to see the various processes of cooking from first to last. Tho Classes are so arranged as to moot tho requirements of people in different positions in life.

Tho afternoons of Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays will bu devoted to superior well as plain cooking. The Kvening Clausen on Tuesdays, Wed. nesdays, and Saturdays will be devoted to the plainer style of cooking. Young ladies attending school during tlio week are invited, to attend the Saturday Lessons. Tho Lessons will ho of two hours' (or more) duration each day, between the hours of two and four in tho afternoon and soveu and nine in the evening. During tho progress of the Lesson, tho teacher will minutely describe the ingredients, quantities, mixing, time of cooking; in fact every detail incidental to tho Lesson. Pupils are requested to' provide, themselves with a small note-book . ancT pencil, that they may make their own notes, gaud thereby retain what they could nut trust to their memory. The articles made at each leHson will ho laid on the counter, with the price attached, and pupils will bo at liberty to purchase them. The Lessons will include the Cooking of Soups, Poultry, Entrees, Fish, Stews, etc.; Cako--, Pastry, Puddings, Pies.
