[fiiom ouk own cokkekpondent.J o DUNEDIN. June 14. Bad accounts of the weather have been received, from all parts of the country. At the port, the sea on the bar is breaking badly. The sailing of the Ringarooma has been postponed till to-morrow. In coming in this morning, she struck heavily on the bar three times. She was drawing loft. Gin. at the time. The Beautiful Star, which had run back when within 28 miles of Timaru, was pooped by a sea on crossing the bar, which smashed the rail and carried away the binnacle, etc. Messrs. James Fulton, Henry Clarke, and Robert Charters are mentioned as candidates for Taieri.
It was dead low water when the Pangarooma crossed the bar yesterday.
