Association, taken upon itself to send circulars to kindred societies interested on the subject, including the N. A. and P. Association, from which tho idea first originated. After considerable discussion on (he extraordinary behaviour of the Dunedin Society, it was resolved that no further action be taken until the receipt of replies from the other societies written to in reference to the subject. The Show (Jround Committee reported that, they had examined several pieces of ground, more or less suitable, and, after a long discussion, iv. was resolved, 0:1 the motion of Mr. Kerr, seconded by Mr. M-L-.mmui "That the Secretary be insrnr'ted to write (o the Municipal Council, to enquire whether they would agree io take the necessary stops, in conjunction with this Society, to ell'eet an exchange of the Municipal Reserve adjoining- the Awanioa estate for tho present Show Cround, and that a deputation from this Society, consisiingof Messrs. Council, 'Rmayue, and Diuilop, wait, upon the Council for the purpose of explaining this Society's views.
