SUCCESSFUL FLOATING OF THE LOAN.
[PER KRESS AGENCY.] Wellington, June 5,
The New Zealander this morning announces that the three million and a half loan has been successfully floated. The Government last night received telegraphic information to the effect that the loan had been subscribed for more than twice over on the first day, and that the lists would close the next morning, as soon as the country mails were delivered.
