May 28. The London papers are sanguine that the peace congress will meet mi the 1 lth July. It is substantially confirmed that Bismark will preside, and that Salisbury, Sehouvaloff, and Andrassy will attend. The naval preparations at Chatham has been relaxed. There has been sharp, continuous fighting in South Africa. The British has been generally successful.
