TIMARU.
May 27. As showing tho high price land in South Canterbury, JonasandHartdisposed of Qiiinn JJrolhers' farm (Makikihi) of 740 acres for L1G.500, or over L 22 per acre ; and a section of land in Tiniarn, consisting of 32 perches, opposite the police station, sold for LBOO. A man named John Keating, who was injured on Saturday by a kick from a horse at Jonas, Hart, and Wildie's sale yards, died to-day.
