o (FROM OUK OWN UOKIIESPOJSDENT.) <*. " DUNEDIN". April 27. The prospectus of the Otago Daily Times Company is issued. Capital, L 40.000, in LIOO shares. The directory includes the names of the Hons. Reynolds, H. S. Chapman, Sir John Richardson, Robert Campbell, and R. Stout; Captain Fraser, Messrs. R. H. Leary, Guthrie, Bastings, Hallenstein, and Dr. Hocken. Mr. G. M. Reed will be retained as editor, and Mr. George Fenwick as manager, for two years. Half the shares are already taken up. Tim Times' profit for the last half-year was a little over L 3,000. At Tokomairiro this morning, three stacks of wheat, the property of Mr. Edward Martin, were destroyed by fire. As they burned from the outside, it is very evident that they must have been set fire to by some person. The loss was L4OO. The stacks were uninsured.
