Gd., or go to gaol for 'lB hours with hard labour. FOllli ERY. •James Fare was charged with, having, on the I.";th inst., forged raid littered two cheques—-oiio for Ll(s iKs.j and another r<'i" AjI.J l.>s. purporting to- be drawn bv Hugh \\ a'iaue. , Hub-Inspector Smsf.li, who appeared for the prosecution, applied for a remand, to enable him to obtain the- attendance of witnesses, stating that the prisoner had only been arrested on Saturdav. The prisoner was then remanded until Thursday next.
