The 3.3. Waitaki, Captain Edie, left for Dunedin at the usual hour to-day, with a large number of passengers and a considerable cargo. The schooner Crest of the Wave, Captain M'Lean, arrived in port last evening, from Dunedin, in ballast.
The schooner Endeavour, Captain Dick. arrived from Wellington yesterday, with 50 -tons of coal for Messrs. J. and T. Meek. She will load with breadstufFs for Wellington. The three-masted schooner Vixen, Captain Stephen, arrived from Dunedin last evening, with a quantity of timber, &c. She will load load with flour for New Flymonth. The ketch Defiance, which left here on Thursday evening for Dunedin with a cargo of stone," pnt into Moeraki yesterday wind bound, but sailed again this morning. The brigantine Ueeola arrived this morning from Newcastle, and anchored in the outer harbor. She left Newcastle on the 2nd inst., and brings 33t> tons of coal for Mr. •G. Sumpter. The schooner Mary Ogilvie, bonnd from Greymonth to Invercargtll with a cargo of ■coal, put into Moeraki yesterday wind bound, but sailed again to-day. The ketch Glimpse left Moeraki to-day •with a cargo of stone for Dunedin.
