TO THE EDITOR OF THE EVENING MAIL.
Sin—A great <b-al has been said m your columns about early closing-, ami a well-known firm is receiving a certain amount of praise for announcing their intention to close a couple of hours earlier for the future on Saturday nights. I would like to know if the firm intend strictly closing their premises, or is it to be a show of closing by putting up their shuttei's and keeping their door open, as they are in the habit of doing every evening when the other drapers are closed.— I am, &c, L'gslh.';
