AUCTIONEERS' REPORTS. Messrs Fleming and Hedley Report that they held a sale of Freehold and Leasehold property on account of Mr. Wm. Copland on Saturday the 13th inst. There was » good attendance, and all the lots submitted ■were bought at the following prices r reehold Sections 11. Block XCII. with a four roomed cottage was purchased by t. M. Premium on Municipal lease of section 10 Block XCII having 17 years to run with an annual rental of L.4. per annum sold to the same buyer at L The Horses and Implements sold as follows. Chestnut gelding Nugget L 64.105, Bay mare Rosie Ls">", Dray and frame Ll3, set of 4 leaf harrows L 4 2s fid. other implements at good rates. Dairy cows sold from L 6 to Ll4, Lot of straw for removal L 6. The same- day, on account of Messrs. Imrie and flawn. Dunedin, they submitted 20 heavy draught mares and gelding 3. As usual with these vendors, the horses were for unreserved sale, and they sold remarkably well. For the good geldings and fillies the competition wan very keen : "while the medium hordes fetched fair rates. The first filly, by Young Man pits, -was bought by Mr. Joseph Johnstone, at 147. They considered this fillv a great bargain, comparing her with some of the others. The next lot was a two-year-old filly of great strength and character, out of a Tasmanian mare, by Emperor. After a very spirited run she eventually fell to the nod of the Hon. M. Holmes" at L 59. The next filly was bv Heather Jock, three years, of good bone, "remarkably well topped, and altogether a rillv worthy of commendation. The bidding on "this filly was brisk, and after a go«nl deal of sparring between Mr. Chrystal. Mr. Pryde. the Ron. M. Holmes, and Messrs. PaTgleish Brothers, she at last was secured bv the latter at the handsome price of [,7 S. The geldmgn were a strong, useful lot. and sold at prices ranging from L 34 to L7O. Superfine Adelaide Hour is worth 44s to 45a per 2Sf>lb.
