In wheat especially there are very few bnver*, and farmers who are desirous of pushing the sale of their stocks must snbmit to°a reduction of from 3d to 4d per bushel, the highest prices now obtainable being from 4s to 4s 2d. There is a decided downward tendency in prices, and a further decline, if peace be proclaimed, appears inevitable, for the English and French markets will then obtain lartre supplies from the shores of the P.lnck Sea, which in addition to larre quantities an-iving from America will fully supply all their demands, at prices with which we cannot compete. Oats are in fair demand, at 3s for ordinary feed, to to 3s *& for prime milling: bnt, as good samples are scarce, prime milling will probablv see hiuhsr rates. Ten thousand bushels of oats wore prtrchased by one firm at above quotations yp«tcrday. In barley there is little doing. a< few lots are offering. Prime maltin<r would command from 4s Sd to 4s lOd. Millers quotations : Flour, at LII I«s. f.o.b : po'lard, ~LS 10s; bran, 13 10s ; oatmeal, LIT- * PTINEDIN GRAIN' MARKET. Mr- Henry Driver reports for the week ending 10th April, as follows :—Wheat is in fair demand for prime milling, at 4s fid; inferior and secondary neglected ; fowls feed scarce, and inquired for at 33 6d. Oats have arrived more freelv and are in good demand at 3* 3d to 3o 5d for cood to heavyfeed : minin-r. 3* Od. Barley: Maltinsr samples are in active demand, bnt little offering. Valups, 5s for prime to 5s 6d for very choice. Feed and milling samples wanted, but none offering.
