The icing for the Champion Belt was not concluded uniil after G p.m. on Saturday. The firing fell off considerably at the lasi rang", owing in some measure" to the very great change in the light. The winners of the range prizes at 60(1 vards were—Vol. 'Rhodes," Hi. Ist- Vol Russell, 10, 2nd; Vol. H. Harding. 15.3rd .- Sergeant King, 15, 4th : Vol. Crab', 15. sth : V. 1. White, 14. Gth. At the conclusion of the firing, three cheers were given for the Association, and three more for Vol. R. Harding, the winner of the Belt. The competition passed off m a highly satisfactory manner, and it gives us great pleasure to be aide to congratulate the Association upon the success which has attended their efforts. We hope to sec these competitions take place every year, for they .are calculated to do a very great amount of good.
