I'he tirst event was the Trial Stakes.—Six started. After a grand race it was won by Grey Mointis by a head ; Kensington. 2 ; Blazing S ar, 3. Hael: Handicap Hurdle Race.—Four started. It was won by Stoker. Greymouth Jockey Club Handicap.— —This brought ten to the post, and was .von after a hard struggle by Eitin King ; J.uspir. '2 ; Morning Star, 3. Hack Race. Wt.n by Camelia. Railway Stakes Handicap. Seven started. Eitin King, 1; Morning Star, 2 ; Blazing Star. 3. Won by half a length.
