Dunedin, February 2S, IS7S. Sir, —Tt is w»th the greatest pleasure that I bear testimony to your treatment of nesi. For the last 24 years 1 have been suffering from deafness in both my ears, brought on by scarlet fever, with great discharge. With the hope of having my hearing restored, I have been under the care of IS doctors and several chemists in England, amongst whom were several who devoted themselves entirely to the treatment of ear diseases, together with one in Dunedin, New Zealand. None were able to dome any good, and they gave me up as incuraNd. Although 1 have been under your care but for a few days, I have improved wonderfully ; in fact, I do not remember being able to hear so distinctly in my life before as I do now. I would strongly advise all suffering from deafness to place themselves under .your skilful treatment..—Thankfully yours, Wit. Mudoe, Tailor and Outfitter, Great King-street, Dunedin. To Professor Stauieh. Sik, —Having suffered from severe deafuess for two and a half years,"l was induced to come up to Dunedin and place myself under your care ; and lam extremely thankful to you for the fact of being able, after a fortnight of your skilful treatment, to return completely cured.—l am, thankfully yours, James Grant, Mosgiel.
