TO TKE KDITOK CIV T)Jfc KVBXINf: MAIL. Kin,—You i' contemporary in this morning's issue the establishment of pillar-boxes in WausbeeU-street, and in Thames-street near the Conimercial Hotel. This suggestion must have been made to the editor by some one who knows nothing of Oamaru North. Jt is true we w'ant a pillar-box in that quarter of the town, hut, to be truly of use, it urusc be placed not one inch south of Exc-street crossing. lam of opinion that it would be better at the Trent-street crossing, as there are at least 2000 persons in Oamavu and its suburbs located north of that point. If we have to go to the Commercial Hotel to post our letters, we may almost equally well go to the Post Office itself.—l am, &c, Lando>\
