The Oamaru team were entertained by tlie TJunedinites, in the evening, at the Prince of Wales Hotel, and the proceedings passed off very satisfactorily. The usual toasts having been proposed and responded to, Mr. Eva, President of the Otago Cricket Association (who occupied the chair), remarked that as the usual match with Canterbury had fallen through they would have to look forward with interest to the match with Oamaru every season.
