DUNEDIN. January 24. Edward Downey, chief reporter under the old Otago Daily Times Company, and no sub-editor of the Morning Herald, is bringing an action in the District Court against °the Company for L2OO damages for wrongful dismissal. Should he be successful the whole of the old staff will lodge similar claims.
