The second, consisting of 53v 2r. under wheat, 7Sia of oat?, and 54a of barley, altogether 186 a Ir, was knocked down at L 3 6*3 per acre. _ Lot 3—69 a self-sown wheat and oats, mixed, bronght 10< per acre. He also sold a bnggy, LIS 10s ; quantity of harness at low rates ; 2 reapers, at 1,15 and L 5 respectively; donblf-'nrrow plough, L 4 as; set iron harrows, L 3 7a Sd ; and niiscellaneons lots, at fair rates. Holders show no disposition to part with their stocks except at an advanced price. Very little New Zealand offering, the entire stock being bronght into a narrow compass. The sales comprise 40 bales, ranging from L2S 5* to L2ff 10a. New Zealand produce moves bnt slowly, there being fittt« demand for better conditioned parcels. The only arrival from New Zea'atvf is-the Anne Gambles, from Auckland, with 735 bag* wheat. Sax Francisco, December 31. Wheat sales include 450,000 pounds at 19.J and 34 for spring. In some kinds of produce there are increased exports, based npon the warlike advices from Europe. Large purchases of grain. beef, pork, and mntton, for England, are interperted as indications of the involvment of Great Britain in war. At the New Bedford sates 2500 bandies crude sperm 3 sold at Idol. 13c to Idol. 13Ac.
