The Tipperary jumping case, in which Judge Williams yesterday dismissed the rule, is to be carried to the Appeal Court. About the end of February, the Hon. Mr. Maeandrew intends visiting the West Coast special settlements. A station hand named Kelly got his head smashed near Goodyer's farm, Cromwell, on Thursday. The injury is said to have been caused by a kick from a horse, but foul play is suspected.
