January 4. The Hon. Mr. Reynolds will address bis constituents at Port Chalmers early next week. Mr. W. A. Young, of Palmerston, is about to stock the Shag .River with a portion of the consignment of American salmon lately received by the. Ghrisfchuroh Acclimatisation Society. Thirteen criminal eases are down for hearing at the Supreme: Court which will sit 011 Monday next, forgery and larceny being the principal crimes. The winners in Cameron's sweep on the Melbourne Champion Race were all Dunedin men.
