The Union Steamship Company's ps. Ssmson. Captain Jones, arrived from Dunedin at 8 o'clock last evenin•/, with 40 tons cargo and a number of passengers. Thebaiquentme Gairon, Captain Barnslev arrived fr-m Newcastle, N.S.W., on Saturday, with 313 tons coal, consigned to C. Galbraith and Co. The fore and aft sc' ooner, Transit, Captain Hooper, arrived from Lyttelton, in ballast, this morning. She will load up here for Auckland. The f- re-and-aft schooner Isabella Pratt, Captain Cross, sailed for Napier on Saturday afternoon, with a cargo of produce. The ketch Franklin Beile, Captain Bradshaw, also produce laden, sailed for Dunedin onSatuiday.
