(PER AiHAMBRA AT THE BLUFF.) London, November 16. The freedom of the city of Glasgow has been presented to the Marquis of Hartington. In a speech at Edinburgh on Tuesday, in reference to the question of disestablishment as a portion of the Liberal programme, Lord Hartington said that they should not repress discussion. Mr. Gladstone, on being presented with the freedom of the city of Dublin, confined himself in his speech to Irish affairs. The Duke de the Minister of Foreign Affairs in France, has resigned. The delegates from the Right of the French Senate have assured Marshal MacMahon of their personal support.
At a.Cabinet Council held at Pruth, it was decided to reserve negotiations with Germany for a reciprocity treaty on the basis of the most favored (?).
The trial of 183 Nihilists has been commenced at St. Petersburg. The death is announced of Field-Mar-shal Von Wrangle, of the Russian army, aged 93 years.
