Tne political siniugle stems to be over for the present sess : on, find very little farther opposition is likely to be offered t) the progress of the" business though there will of course be some Sl nagg : ng" on the part of the hungry office-seekers who formed the late Ministry. Some of the Bills embodying the policy of the-
Ministry will no doubt cause some debate, but nothing serious is arit'eipat.d, and tlie Government will, it is believed, succeed in cirrying their measures with very little trouble. Tie rank and tile of the Opposition party are apparently tired of the struggle. Some have gone home, and those that remain are prepared to throw up the spouse, at any rate for the present session. It is t'ier. fore probable tiiat the session will be brought to a close in tlie course of ten days or a fortnight. Members are pretty well sick of the session, and will be glad to get home.
