Mr. Sheehan moved the House to disagree with the Legislative Councils amendment in the Education Reserves Bill, and a conference was asked for. The Shipping and Reserves Bill was further considered in Commit See. Mr. Sheehan move I the adjournment of t!\e House at 5.30 until Monday, ;s tlio Public Works and Financial Statements had to be prepared, and it w;is absolutely necessary that Ministers should have some time to consult together. The House had been sitting so continuously, that really the Cabinet had no: had time to meet. The motion was agreed fco.
