The following notifications were issued as a New Zealand Gazette extraordinary yesterday : " Executive Council, Chamber, " Wellington, October 15, 1877. " His Excellency the Governor has this day been pleased to appoint the Hon. Jas. Temple Fisher to be a member of the Executive Council of New Zealand. " (By command.) " Foster Gokisto, " Clerk of the Executive Council." " Private Secretary's Office, " Wellington, October 15, 1577. " His Excellencj' the Governor has this day been pleased to appoint the Hon. Sir George Grej-, K.C.8., to be Premier, Colonial Secretary, and* Commissioner of Customs ; the Hon. Win. James Mudie Larnach, to be Colonial Treasurer, Minister of Public Works, and Commissioner of Stamp Duties ; the Hon. Jas. Macaudrew, to be Secretary for Crown Lands and Minister for Immigration ; the Hon.
John Sheehan, to be Native Minister and Minister for Justice ; the Hon. James Temple Fisher, to be Postmaster-General and Commissioner of Telegraphs. " (By command.) " Irvin G. Malinu, " Captain 23rd Regiment, "Private Secretary."
