AUCTIONEER'S REPORT. Mr. A. H. Maude reports that he sold byauction to-day the furniture and in the estate of Mr. George M Leorl Poison. There was a fair att- ndance of the trade, and middling prices were obtained. TIMARU. This morning's Timaru Herald reports as follows :—"No alterations have occurred in grain quotations during; the week_ The prices published last Saturday still hold good.- No transaction of any notice has taken place, and both lmvers and sellers appear to be in a state of doubt as to how to act."
