THE WAKA MAORI LIBEL CASE. July 30. Mr. Miller reports the sale of William Lyon and Co.'s Pororangi properties—ll,ooo acres freehold, and 2000 acres leasehold, with all plants and improvements, 13,500 sheep (delivery after shearing)—for L 22,500. In the Wuka Maori libel case, counsel on both sides have agreed to sit till 10 o'clock every night till the evidence is plosed.
