THE PRUDUCE MARKET. July 27. Produce quotations—Wheat, of prime qualities find ready sale at 7s 9d; ordinary, 6s ; oats, 3s 3d to 3s 7d ; barley, 2s 9d to 3s 3d.
Mr. Bradshaw reports : —Bank of New Zealand, L 22 10s ; Colonial Bank, 54s National Bank, 70s ; National Insurance, 32s 6d ; South British, 80s ; Mosgiel Factory, 655. During the last three days, 6000 shares in the Union Insurance Company have been applied for. The total number of shares applied for in the Province is 70,000. Applications for shares in the Hardware Company close on the 31st.- Applications have been very freely made.
